George Micheal Williams, a committed and devoted servant of God, serves currently and for the past 38 years as ministering evangelist to the church of Christ at East Side in Austin, Texas. He is a highly respected minister of the gospel. He has conducted gospel meetings and revivals across the United States, and spoken at the National Lectureship of Churches of Christ, various state wide lectureships, conducted a city wide revival in Dallas, TX, and spoken on the city wide campaigns for Christ in Houston, TX. He has engaged in several public religious debates in defense of the “The Faith.”
He is a native Texan. He holds degrees from Southwestern Christian College (A.A., with honors); Abilene Christian University (B.S., in ministry and evangelism; cum laude) and (M.S., in biblical & related studies). Brother Williams was acknowledged and officially recognized as an African American male role model within the Austin community. In 2019, he was awarded the Edwards Ministerial Associations Man of the Year Image Award for his commitment, compassion, care, and outstanding service to the church of Christ, his community, state, and nation. He was honored by Southwestern Christian College with Image Awards in the areas of Leadership and ministerial achievement. He served as a literary contributor to the Blueprints Bible curriculum. He recently authored his first book entitled, “Lord I Need an Attitude Adjustment” (An exposition on the book of Malachi) published by 21st Christian.
Brother Williams was previously married for 25 before the Lord called his spouse home. He is currently very happily married to his incredibly special gift from God, the love of his life, the beautiful (outwardly & inwardly) Gail March-Williams. Together they share four wonderful grown children and three grandchildren, one adorable granddaughter, Amayah Nicole, and two handsome grandsons, George Micheal III, Harrison Emanuel.
Though Brother Williams continues to labor and build God’s flock, his greatest life goal is… “Simply to be the best Christian man and servant of God I can be, so that when this life is over I hear Christ say, ‘Well done thou good and faithful servant.’”
