Lamont Ross is the Senior Minister of the Marsalis Avenue Church of Christ. Prior to that, he served as the congregation’s Family and Youth Minister and was the Youth Minister at the Eastside Church of Christ in Austin, Texas for six years. He holds a Masters of Arts in Theological Studies and Professional Counseling and graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies. He is a licensed professional counselor and a trainer for the Prepare/Enrich premarital and marital program.

Stacy Ross has earned degrees in nursing from Texas Tech University and Texas Wesleyan University. She holds a Doctorate of Nurse Anesthesia Practice from Missouri State University. She currently works at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in the operating room located in Dallas, Texas.

 

The Rosses enjoy serving the Lord through ministry and have had the fortunate privilege of co-facilitating marriage seminars and family workshops. Over the years sister Ross has enjoyed being a Bible school teacher, a workshop presenter for various ladies’ day programs, and a chorus director. She is passionate about helping Christian girls grow to be women of God. She also has participated in benevolence, outreach, youth, and health ministries, including providing COVID-19 vaccine clinics at Marsalis Avenue.

Lamont and Stacy are the proud parents of three wonderful children. Their daughter, Chloe, is 13 years old and their two sons, William and Andrew, are 11 and 10 years old respectively.
